The workshop will concentrate on practical ways to save time and improve image quality. For example it's easy to set yourself up to import images from your memory card and at the same time add copyright information,make a second backup copy to another disk, rename the image and add some keywords all in one step. You can even carry on working while it’s happening!
The day will be presented using slides and demonstrations with some practical exercises. If you have Lightroom on a laptop you are welcome to bring this. You will leave with a full set of notes and a complementary Epson print so don't forget to bring an image on your memory card.
With the recent release of Lightroom 4 we'll cover the improved editing, book module, geo-tagging and other new features so you'll be right up to date.
Although the course is taught in Adobe Lightroom,the same principles can easily be applied to other software, such as Apple's Aperture, Extensis Portfolio or the Organiser module in Adobe Photoshop.
