Inverpolly, Scotland - Winter Landscapes

This workshop was created by Paul Gallagher your workshop leader to give you the unique opportunity to experience this breathtaking environment during the winter. Paul will work with you on a 1 to 1 basis to capture the very essence of this amazing place during this season.

The aim of this workshop is to help you improve your winter photography skills in a variety of landscape environments. Each evening we will explore your days images and Paul will show you how to get the most from your image files using Photoshop techniques he has mastered over the years along with producing some finished prints for you to take home! Paul will also give a lecture on his experiences of photographing in the depths of winter and why he has been making photographs here for over twenty five years.

Inverpolly compromises undulating heather moorland, peat bogs, lochs, pockets of birch, hazel and rowan woodland and is dominated by the magnificently isolated red Torridonian Sandstone peaks of Cul Mor (849m), Cul Beag (769m) and Stac Polly (613m) the smallest yet undoubtedly the most popular of the group. Inverpolly's major lochs include Loch Lurgainn beneath Stac Polly, leading to Loch Badagyle.

You are guaranteed to leave this workshop with a fantastic collection of images and a greater confidence in making winter landscape photographs that show the beauty of winter and that stand out.
