Lake District - Large Format Master Class

The large format camera is regarded by many as the ultimate tool for the fine art photograph and the resulting images ooze quality, detail and tonal range.

You will be shown in one to one tuition how to fully use camera movements to obtain the classic large format near-far depth of field.   The impact of the camera movements on composition will also be explored in depth.  Additionally you will learn to refine the use of a hand held spot meter for precise exposure.

This master class workshop is limited to 4 people and is designed for photographers who already have a good understanding of technique and equipment but wish to push their creative abilities further.


Taking our time is an essential part of this workshop and large format photography so the 'considered approach' will be something you will certainly take home.

This 5-day long workshop will dedicate specific periods of time tackling different subject matter in varying landscapes, each of which is designed to challenge and improve your large format photography skill set.

This workshop is limited to 4 people to reflect the intense and challenging nature of it and permit extensive one to one tuition and coaching.
