Adrian is a Degree qualified engineer specialising in electronic and software. Adrian's last full time post was as the Research and Development Director at Keeler Ltd, a well know British Ophthalmic instrument manufacturer. However, photography has been in his blood for more than 25 years. Adrian started to take his photography seriously in the 90's to capture the development of the band he was playing in, and also the beauty of Snowdonia, where he was a regular visitor. Adrian studied City and Guilds photography, achieving distinctions is all his modules. In 2000, he embraced a digital workflow, selling all his darkroom equipment in exchange for Photoshop, a large format scanner and large format printer. In 2002 Adrian started teaching C&G photography courses. Within a few years he progressed to leading Photoshop and Lightroom courses for Light and on a one-to-one basis. In 2016 he left his 'day job' to concentrate on helping photographers to use the growing number of software tools, majoring in Photoshop and Lightroom.
Adrian's deep knowledge of computers and software combines with an easy teaching style to deliver courses which are ideal for beginners through to advanced photographers.
Adrian has achieved success in national competitions, often winning building and architecture rounds. He has exhibited and sold limited edition prints. In 2016 one of his pictures was selected for the Royal Acedemy Summer Exhibition, selling all copies of the limited edition within 2 days.
