Fredrik Stromme

Fredrik Stomme is a freelance photographer living in Trondheim, Norway.

Educated as a graphic designer, he started using Photoshop 20 years ago and fell in love with all the editing possibilities it had to offer.

Living in Norway, surrounded by spectacular nature, he bought his first DSLR in 2005 in order to take his own photos to work with in the post-processing. This quickly lead to a passion for hiking and for landscape photography, which has grown even stronger over the years. Fredrik is drawn to dark atmospheric mood and wild landscapes in his photography. He often looks for locations that can give his photography a touch of fantasy, leading too many trips around Norway and to Iceland.

In 2019 National Geographic found interest in one of these photos, and shared it on their Facebook page, which he sees as his biggest photography accomplishment up to this date.

Fredrik has had several exhibitions in the middle part of Norway. And runs a photography web page where he shares online tutorials and photography articles in order to help beginners improve their skills both in photography and post-processing.
