For more than fifteen years we’ve been creating exceptional photographic experiences and providing thoughtful guidance that helps photographers get more from their photography, whether through inspiring photography tours, immersive retreats, practical workshops, online learning or long-term mentoring.

Founded by Paul Gallagher and Michael Pilkington, both Fellows of the Royal Photographic Society, aspect2i is built on a simple belief. Photography is about more than mastering a camera or software. Those skills matter, and we teach them carefully. But lasting progress comes from understanding the choices behind every photograph: what you’re trying to say, why you’re making the image and how your decisions shape the final result.

Whether you’re planning your next photographic adventure or looking for a deeper understanding of your photography, we work alongside you rather than directing your vision. Our aim isn’t to create photographers who see the world as we do, but to help you discover and develop your own way of seeing.
