Individual Full Year Mentoring Program

We have always been about teach­ing and nur­tur­ing pho­tog­ra­phers so they are more con­fi­dent about their approach and proud to show­case their work. To date we have cov­ered vir­tu­al­ly all of the indi­vid­ual aspects of land­scape pho­tog­ra­phy from choice of lens whilst out in the field to what media will be best suit­ed for a par­tic­u­lar image in our work­shops and cours­es. For the first time we have brought this entire jour­ney of pho­tog­ra­phy togeth­er into one incred­i­bly com­pre­hen­sive package.

Paul and Michael believe that when embark­ing on a pho­to­graph­ic jour­ney it should be about learn­ing skills as well as learn­ing about your­self and how you want to use pho­tog­ra­phy to com­mu­ni­cate. We all see things in a dif­fer­ent way but more often than not we are some­how con­strained to what we feel we should be doing in our pho­tog­ra­phy by what we see on social media, mag­a­zines or try­ing to appeal to com­pe­ti­tion judges. We want you to allow your­self to move for­ward and take on the chal­lenge and com­mit­ment to be more cre­ative and dis­cov­er a new pho­tog­ra­ph­er in yourself.

Paul and Michael will ded­i­cate a year of their time dur­ing this pro­gram to help­ing you to become a bet­ter pho­tog­ra­ph­er. This is a long term rela­tion­ship were you have two mas­ter pho­tog­ra­phers and mas­ter print­ers avail­able to you. You will work close­ly with Paul and Michael who will be there to encour­age and inspire you in what­ev­er direc­tion you may choose to go. They will begin by gain­ing an under­stand­ing you as a pho­tog­ra­ph­er and why you are decid­ing to under­take our men­tor­ing pro­gram and also what dri­ves you to get out with your cam­era. From this point they will tai­lor make a bespoke plan for the year of dis­cov­ery ahead.

This year will leave no stone unturned from field­craft to com­po­si­tion, and from raw file to fin­ished exhi­bi­tion qual­i­ty print, the con­clu­sion of which will be images that say more about you than they ever did. The year will involve time in the field along with record­ed Zoom ses­sions and exten­sive 1 to 1 guid­ance from both Paul and Michael. Also, you will have l access to our entire online school cov­er­ing every aspect from raw file to fin­ished print.

Over the years Paul and Michael have worked with many pho­tog­ra­phers who have gone on to achieve great noto­ri­ety and have seen their work includ­ed in exhi­bi­tions and books. They are mas­ters of the entire jour­ney of pho­tog­ra­phy and their knowl­edge of land­scape pho­tog­ra­phy is very much sought after. It is this knowl­edge and exten­sive expe­ri­ence that will shared with you through every step of this pro­gram and they know full well what is takes to flour­ish as a photographer.

Our men­tor­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties are lim­it­ed to 2 pho­tog­ra­phers per quar­ter and places are via appli­ca­tion only.
